Break-even logic
If a private option has a group price F, a group tour costs g per person and the private option adds v per person in comparable mandatory costs, the rough crossover is F ÷ (g − v), provided g is greater than v.
Use prices for the same travel date, currency and inclusions. This page intentionally does not publish a fixed “average price” because live rates vary.
After the numbers
The cheapest total may still be unsuitable if it removes a necessary pickup, guide language or cancellation option. Record those constraints beside the calculation.
